Winter Interclub: Round #5

24/6/2014

With the completion of round #5 we have reached the play off stages in the top three grades.
In the Premier Grade, Empire Entertainers and Empire Eagles are in the semi finals and Empire Embers are playing off for 5th/6th place.
In Division One, Empire Evils have reached the final.
In Division Two, Empire Elms have reached the final, Empire Engines are playing off for 3rd/4th place and Empire Echoes and Empire Erasers are playing off for 5th/6th place.
Best of luck to all now that the chips are down!
In Division 3, Empire Elves are in the runners up spot with one more round to go.

Junior Development Tournament: Empire Clean Up!

We had some excellent results at the recent Junior Development Tournament. This extract from the Table Tennis Wellington Website says it all.

All the non Manawatu (Man) player are from our Junior Club. Congratulations to all concerned!

Winter Interclub: Round #4

Empire Elms are now our only unbeaten team and are currently lying second (on game difference) in Division 2. Congratulations to them! With one more round before the playoffs in the various grades several teams are still in contention. For full details go to the table tennis wellington website.

Winter Interclub: Round #3

Empire Entertainers and Empire Elms remain unbeaten after round #3 of Winter Interclub played last week. The following players are either unbeaten or have only lost one match so far:
Depak Patel, Chris Talbot, Paul Brown, Mat Hobbs, Vladimir Vysotskiy, Jonathon Bartlett and Cayden Larson.

We have four teams unbeaten after round #2 of Winter Interclub. They are the Entertainers (on song), Evils (opposition scarers), Elms (branching out) and the Elves (magic purveyors). TTSports Wellington Autumn Open

This tournament, which was held at Empire on 3rd/4th May, is the first of two national rating tournaments run by Table Tennis Wellington each season. Our successful players are listed below and congratulations to them! The table tennis wellington website has all the results and some action photos.
