Midweek Club Closing day for the Midweek Club is Thursday 15th December. Members are asked to bring a plate of food along to share for lunch. The MidweekClub will open informally on Tuesday 10th January, with the official opening date likely to be Tuesday 31st January 2017. Monday Club
The last official night will be Monday 12th December. This will also be the Club Prizegiving Ceremony. Members are asked to bring a plate of supper to share and those bringing a plate will be exempt from the night fees. Everyone else will need to pay the usual $5.00. Monday Club will reopen casually on Monday 16th January. Depending on interest this night and the commitment of Board members we may or may not open the following Monday 23rd January which is Wellington Anniversary Day. The official opening will be Monday 30th January 2017. Here are a couple of photos taken by Phillip Yee at the annual Midweek Doubles tournament in and at the visit to Kapiti both in September. The 2016 Wellington Open takes place on 30th/31st July at our Stadium. Entries close at 9.00pm on Wednesday 27th July. Sunday Club will not operate on 31st July due, to the Wellington Open.
Our movie fund raiser this year is Florence Foster Jenkins at the Lighthouse Petone on Tuesday 10th May at 8.00pm. Arrive from 7.30pm to enjoy a light supper. Drinks are available for purchase. The movie stars Merry Streep, Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg (Big Bang Theory). It has received good reviews and promises to be both enjoyable and funny. Click here for more details. Tickets are $20 each and are available from session organisers and board members. Please support this fund raiser. These additional funds are vital to our Club.

It’s that time again, the New Zealand Masters Games are back! The Games are scheduled in Dunedin from 30 January – 7 February 2016 and over 5,000 people are expected to participate. The event line-up is huge, 60 sports from Table Tennis to Yachting and everything in between. Whether you wish to compete for a medal or give something a go in a social category – there is something for everyone!
